There is parking available on Raeburn Avenue, which is on the left-hand side as you approach Edith Gardens road, just before Meldone Close, also on the left.
Public transport:
The K2 and 665 go along Raeburn Avenue and if you are coming from Kingston, you’ll want the “Edith Gardens” bus stop which is 20m north of the entrance. From the other direction, the stop is also called Edith Gardens. The site is a 20-minute walk from Berrylands Station.
About Edith Gardens
Citizen Zoo has been working at the council-owned Edith Gardens Nature Reserve since 2018. With the help of volunteers, we have given the site a new lease of life. Previously, overgrown it is now once again a thriving nature reserve with mixed habitats, including woodland, ponds, a mini-meadow and a bee bank.
In 2025, we secured Kingston NCIL funding to restore the site for wildlife and make it fully accessible to all. Thanks to our excellent volunteers, the site now includes new wheelchair paths, wildlife ponds, a mini orchard and an all-weather shelter. Edith Gardens is now officially open for partnerships with local community groups and charities across the borough.
